Do you want to clean and protect several suitable hard materials in your garden set? The Golden Care Multi Surface Care Kit combines Multi Surface Cleaner and Multi Surface Protector, 750 ml each, with the appropriate accessories. You work in two steps: removing dirt and then properly treating the clean, dry surface.
Tailoring the kit to your garden set
Golden Care positions Multi Surface for various hard garden furniture materials, including plastic wicker, plastic, and aluminium. Before use, check both bottles to see which materials and finishes are listed. The furniture manufacturer's advice will help you determine whether the treatment is suitable for your table, chairs, or frame.
Go through the components of a mixed set individually. Cushions and textile rope have their own textile care route; you do not automatically apply a hard material treatment to them. An unknown coating or damaged finish also requires an initial assessment. Test both products on an inconspicuous area.
What is included in this version
This version contains 750 ml of Multi Surface Cleaner and 750 ml of Multi Surface Protector, along with the appropriate accessories. The Cleaner is intended for removing dirt, grease, and stains. The Protector is the follow-up step for a water- and dirt-repellent treatment of suitable surfaces.
The Protector in this kit is the Multi Surface version. Please refer to the instructions on the bottle. The application method for Aluminium Protector 500 ml or an older Metal & Plastic Protector does not automatically apply. When preparing, check the contents of your own kit and keep the two sets of instructions separately at hand.
Clean first and finish carefully
Protect the work area and wear the prescribed personal protective equipment. The Dutch Multi Surface Cleaner instructions describe applying it ready to use and allowing it to work for three minutes. Then carefully clean with a suitable soft sponge or cloth according to the material and furniture advice. If instructions differ, follow the label on the bottle.
Rinse the surface with clean water after cleaning. Repeat the cleaning step as necessary according to the instructions and allow the treated parts to dry thoroughly. The protection step follows on a clean and dry surface. Allow sufficient time for this, especially for wickerwork and parts where you want to finish the cleaning carefully.
Then the Multi Surface Protector
Read the Protector bottle and perform the separate test. The current Golden Care explanation describes applying it evenly to the clean, dry surface and spreading it with a clean cloth. Follow the instructions for the Protector in your kit for the quantity, tool, any layers, and drying time.
Allow the treatment to dry thoroughly before using the furniture. A water- and dirt-repellent treatment is part of the material's maintenance and is not a repair of a damaged coating. During the next maintenance session, reassess the condition and follow the prescribed preparation.

By assessing the set per material, it becomes clear where the kit is suitable and where a different route is needed. You also do not need to see the two products as a single action: first you finish cleaning, then you assess the surface and the instructions for protection.
